Recently Philips Electronics has embarked on a major redefinition of all its processes and sub processes, with the aim to align and significantly simplify our ways of working. This redefinition is rolled out under the highly visible Accelerate! program. Also the Quality related processes need to be redefined, implemented and then optimized. The final objective of this role is to gain full implementation of the new Quality processes throughout Philips Consumer Lifestyle, while all stakeholders are trained and motivated to deliver well.
Role
As Business Process Expert you will provide direct support to BPO Quality Assurance in order to establish best practice processes for the business in line with overall Philips process architecture. You will conduct diagnosis, architecture design, detailed design, optimization and documentation of the Quality processes, both centrally and in the businesses.
For a number of centrally managed processes you will own and execute them. Additionally you will support and own the IT tools used in the business process (where relevant). In this highly visible role you’ll support Senior Leadership by aligning these processes across the sector, training key personnel in the use of related tools and support the execution of the processes.
You make sure that processes deliver the agreed business results on time and in full through identification, tracking and reporting. In case of deviations the business may call on your support to structurally improve them. For this you will use modern process management techniques such as Lean and Six Sigma. You’ll advocate the relevant approaches and stimulate the sharing of achieved process improvements across Philips.
To be successful in this both challenging and rewarding job, you will bring a DMAIC or DfSS BB certification, a Master’s degree and proven Lean and Six Sigma experience and project results. You have strong analytical, numerical and statistical skills and have affinity with IT tools. You are smart in extracting information from databases. You are an experienced and certified auditor and have at least 5 years of work experience related to process management and implementation. Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to influence and work across various levels of management are also required.

The Successful Candidate will be measured against the following KPI’s:
• At least 80 Supplier Quality Managers across the world trained and well versed on APQP methods. Additionally 200 other relevant stakeholders need to be trained
• At least 35 main suppliers trained in APQP
• All A & B projects will be running APQP projects running with suppliers across the world
• The initial Field Call Rate (or Predicted Field Call rate) of APQP supported projects is 30% lower than of the conventionally run projects
• The Warranty Related Costs one year after introduction of the APQP projects is 30% lower than of the conventionally run project
